This provides all the information you need to brand your team page. Branding includes use of a logo, custom team colours and a biography of the team, which must be provided by the team to the league.
Team Branding is used on Team and Player pages, and in some other locations where the team can be identified.
If you do not provide a logo, a basic one will be used at the discretion of the website creator.
Team Logo
The logo will appear in various sizes, depending on where it is displayed on the website.
- The logo file must be a maximum size of 1000 x 1000 pixels
- If the logo is not exactly square, supply the logo with the longest edge of 1000 pixels
- The file should be as close as possible to a square format (avoid tall or wide logos)
- If the logo is extremely small, it may display blocky/blurry
- It should be provided in the PNG file format (avoid JPG)
- It should not be photographic
- If the logo itself is not exactly ‘square’ (the logo is a random shape), the PNG file must be saved with a transparent background, to ensure it displays at it’s best
- It is recommended that the logo should not include too much fine detail, as the logo is displayed small in some areas
- If you do not provide a logo, a basic one will be used at the discretion of the website creator.
Team colours
- Team colours are used for text colours, banners and various areas of a page
- For precise colours, specify the hex code of a colour e.g. #FFD700
- For approximate colours, describe the colours. e.g. Dark Red, Bright Blue, Aqua, etc. Colours used will be a near as possible to the colours described
- You can specify up to 5 team colours
- Colours specified will be used as appropriate, for the various elements
- If team colours are not specified, colours from your logo may be used or any as considered appropriate by the website creator.
Team Biography
- The biography should be between 200-500 words
- Don’t forget to use a spell check
- If a biography is not provided, this area will be left blank on your profile.
